Welcome to HiJack Behaviors where learning moves outside the textbook and into reality.
My name is Jacqueline Shackil, founder of HiJack Behaviors. When I began my journey as a BCBA, I realized that the coursework, the exams, even the supervised fieldwork never truly prepared me to be a BCBA all on my own. Behavior analysts often work in isolation. For me, that isolation was one of the biggest gaps in my growth that nobody warned me about. That's why I started HiJack Behaviors — to provide support, collaboration, and connection among fellow BCBAs.
At HiJack Behaviors, you aren't given my textbook answers. You are given my experience and a partner to work through your problems with. I provide teaching and mentorship for BCBAs who found themselves in the same position as me. Here you will find relatable continuing education that stretches beyond clinical knowledge and a partner who doesn't feed you more definitions, but a way to apply your knowledge across your caseload.
The goal was never to give you more information. It was to change the way you think about the information you already have.
